FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about Savantrexs Venture Nepal and how the platform works.
What kind of ventures can list on SVN?
SVN supports all types of ventures — startups, small businesses, social enterprises, manufacturing companies, service businesses, research ventures, and local businesses. We are not limited to tech; sectors range from agritech and fintech to hospitality, tourism, and professional services.
Is SVN an investment platform?
No. SVN is a discovery and connection platform. Investors can discover ventures and express interest (e.g., investment interest, introduction request). Actual investment discussions and transactions happen outside the platform in V1.
How does the review process work?
Every venture submission goes through admin review. We check for completeness, relevance, and credibility before publishing. Submissions may be approved, rejected, or returned for revision. This ensures only quality listings appear on the platform.
Are there any fees to list?
In V1, listing is free. Founders can list their venture at no cost. We may introduce premium features in future versions, but core discovery and listing remain free.
Who can connect with ventures?
Registered investors and ecosystem participants can browse ventures and submit connection requests. You need to sign up as an investor to access the venture directory and send interest requests.
What types of interest can investors express?
Investors can choose from: General Interest, Request Introduction, Partnership Interest, Mentorship Offer, Investment Interest, or Strategic Collaboration. This helps founders understand the nature of each connection request.
How long does review take?
We aim to review submissions within a few business days. You will receive a notification when your venture is approved, rejected, or if revisions are requested.
Can I update my venture listing after it's published?
Yes. Founders can edit their venture profile from the founder dashboard. Significant changes may require re-review before going live.
Is SVN only for Nepal-based ventures?
SVN focuses on ventures operating in or connected to Nepal's ecosystem. Location options include Kathmandu, Pokhara, and other Nepalese cities. We prioritize ventures with a clear Nepal connection.
